Copying the HTML pags from local disc drive

The homepage you want to import needs to be saved at your local disc drive. If this is not the case, you have to transfer data from your current web space to your local drive.

Copying the HTML pages from the local hard drive

First go to the directory containing your website, select all files and subdirectories and click on Edit -> Copy.

Uploading the HTML pages via FTP

In editing mode press FTP -> FTP web directory and answer the dialog with OK. Within the window popping up, click on Open/Execute. This will open an FTP directory, now select Edit -> Paste.

Depending on your connection and on the file size this process can take a few minutes.

Copying the file style.css

If your existing website has a style.css file (Style Sheets) you need to manually copy it to the FTP folder /style replacing any existing file in the web folder.

Importing the files in the CMS

In editing mode click Extras -> Document import. The following list shows files not contained in the CMS. Start importing by clicking on Import.
