‘Open object offset’ can be used to define the position of elements like tables, images, etc. independently. This enables you to move images over each other with the help of different layers.
To experience how ‘Open object offset’ works, insert two images (one underneath the other image) in the editor. Select the first image and click on the Release object button. Now you can move the image freely within your page. After repeating the same process with the second image you can move the two images until they overlap each other. The sequence of layers depends on the sequence of inserting the images. Here the image inserted last, forms the top most layer.
