Page Settings

In the editor under the settings icon you will find the page settings. In addition to the file name, you can specify a title for each page.

The page title

The title appears in the browser window in the upper gray frame. The title is an important indicator for search engines and also appears in the search results. For each page, enter a title that is as accurate as possible and describes the content of the page as precisely as possible.

background and page layout

Under Background you can assign the classes set in the layout to a page. For example, if a page is to appear in the left window, the class "Left Window" is set under Background.

The layout in which the page should open is set in the "Layout" selection. The basic setting here is "Standard". If the page is to be displayed without a layout (without the windows above, below, etc.) (e.g. in the case of a front page), select "Single page" here.

You can find more information about the layout of a page in the chapter Create layouts yourself .

Author, keywords, search engines

In the Author field you can enter information about the author of the page. Under the so-called keywords (keywords) enter the most important terms that indicate the content of the page.

Describe the keywords as you would look for them yourself in a search engine.

For example, you want to describe the product "Multifunctional Printer". Only a few visitors will look for the actual term in search engines. To do this, the term must first be known. The additional description with words like "device for printing, scanning, faxing, copying" or "printer, scanner, fax, copier in one" is better here.

Do not submit page to search engines

In the "Search engine" selection you specify the options for entering the page in a search engine. Standard settings are "current page yes, following pages yes". If the page is not to be entered, set "Current page no, following pages no" here.
